Ryan is passionate about building products that help businesses engage with their customers-- he has been part of 4 startups and 2 industry leaders focused on that goal. Ryan Nichols is the General Manager of Zendesk Talk, call center software for more personal and productive phone support conversations. Ryan joined Zendesk from Foundation Capital, where he was an Entrepreneur in Residence, discovering the next big CRM businesses.
Previously, Ryan launched a startup of his own, which built the first mobile inbox for salespeople. Ryan was also VP of Apps at Podio, where he drove the growth of their collaboration platform until their $50M acquisition by Citrix. Before that, Ryan ran the product business for Appirio in the Salesforce ecosystem, launching three top 10 AppExchange apps. His background includes SAP, Intuit, McKinsey, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
