The answer to rebuilding consumer trust? Your support agents
Tiffany Apczynski, VP of Public Policy at Zendesk
According to the 2017 Trust Barometer issued by Edelman, trust among consumers is in deep crisis and is the lowest it has been in five years. Businesses can bounce back from this crisis by leveraging the power of their support agents. Tiffany Apczynski, Zendesk’s Vice President of Social Impact, will share Zendesk Advocate data correlating how community-driven culture impacts advocate satisfaction ratings, which directly impact external customer satisfaction rating
Workshop: Navigating conflict to build strong relationships at work
Amy Gallo
Every day at work we navigate competing interests, clashing personalities, and fragile egos. We want strong relationships with clients, coworkers, and employees but that’s not always easy, especially when time is tight and resources are limited. So how can you deal with disagreements in a professional and productive way, that improves both your work and your relationships? In this workshop, Amy Gallo, contributing editor at Harvard Business Review and author of HBR Guide to Dealing with Conflict, combines management research and practical insights to provide a straightforward process for navigating uncomfortable situations.
Designing customer experiences in the age of hyper-realtime
Christine Todorovich
Customers today expect things to happen on "their time". This means customer experiences need to accommodate both immediacy and personalization, and designers of these experiences are becoming more shapers of moments than makers of things. Christine Todorovich, Principal Design Director at Frog Design, will share insights on how to leverage our modern relationship with time to design better experiences for customers, including how to incorporate synchronous and asynchronous interactions with customers through messaging and chat to improve your customer support strategy.
